Kathy Ruttenberg (b. 1957, Chicago, IL) holds a BFA with honors from the School of Visual Arts, New York, NY and studied at the School of Visual Arts, Tangier, MA and the New York University Graduate Program, Venice IT. Her work has been exhibited at Lyles & King, New York, NY; de Cordova Sculpture Center, Boston, MA; Stefan Stux Gallery, New York, NY; Slademore Contemporary, London, UK; Dubuque Museum of Art, IA; Caramoor Center for Music and Art, New York, NY; International Ceramic Biennial, Vallauris, FR; 5th World Ceramic Biennale Korea, KR; and 59th Faenza Price International Competition of Contemporary Ceramic Art, IT. Ruttenberg’s sculptures are permanently installed at several public sites including Battery Park, New York, NY; Mamiraua Sustainable Development Reserve, Amazonas, BR; and Tisch Children’s Zoo in Central Park, New York City, NY. Ruttenberg has presented over forty solo shows throughout her career. She is represented by Lyles & King, New York, NY. Ruttenberg lives and works in Bearsville, NY.
